Three year's and a day.
My very first sof frame, I started it three year's ago. The picture below the frame has been in the same shape for at least 2 1/2 years. Today I got all fired up. First I cut new rib stock, put in 6 new ribs.
It did not take long to get going as I have had all the stringers ready to go. Try to get as flat a hull as I could.
Perhaps 5 hours today to get everything done except the deck stringers. Should be a fun boat in the surf. It is based on a recovery kayak from Morris's book. It could be a good pool boat, will see.
I'm going to have to get some skin soon as this is the second boat I have waiting. Starting on Helaine's new boat next.
