Beautiful afternoon,
Helaine and I got out today for a quick trip at our local launch. I spent the morning shaping on my storm paddle. I thought it was close, it was like paddling with a long brick. I forgot to slide the paddle a couple of times, almost went over a couple of times. More shaving's in the future.

I am amazed at the people that go out of their way to stop and check out the boats when we launch here. Nice that people appreciate the effort.
When we got there the tide was going out pretty quick, so quick Helaine was in the boat and gone before I knew it. The sun was out, beautiful water, low tide. We paddled south towards Point Richmond, we went maybe two miles. Turned around and caught the ebb heading north very fast return.
Gotta get hunny in the boat more!!!
Oh yea, looks like drilling thru the boat makes them leak. Need to find a fix.
